Scooting to school

A few weeks ago we bought both kids a scooter. I was pleased to find cheap ones that fold up pretty small in Argos, and delighted to have them on offer as well!

Niether child has so far mastered riding a bike and I hope they'll improve on their balance, but also, we make so many trips to and from school I was really hoping for something to make the trips more fun.

Now the scooters remain by the door, at the ready, to go out every time we do - they are a resounding sucess. Many of the kids go to school around here on foot or scooter so they are also enjoying being part of the club there too! Plus, the extra trips to Brownies and after school club (at present without my car) are going a lot smoother, and faster with wheels.
